Catherine Isaac

The Way With Words exhibition celebrates notable people with a connection to the local area who found success with a career in words.

Catherine Isaac attended St Hilda’s CE High School on Croxteth Drive.

Catherine Isaac  is the author of 12 novels, nine of which were written as ‘Jane Costello’. Born in Liverpool, she began her career as a reporter at the Liverpool Echo and eventually became Editor of the Liverpool Daily Post. She wrote her first book, Bridesmaids, while on maternity leave and went on to have series of Sunday Times best-sellers.

You Me Everything was her first book writing as Catherine Isaac. It was selected by the Richard & Judy Book Club and a movie adaptation is being developed by Lionsgate. Her books have been translated into 25 languages.

Catherine lives in Liverpool with her husband Mark and three sons and enjoys playing tennis in her spare time.
