Nicki Wilkinson

Films from the archives of the late Angus Tilston MBE, amateur filmmaker, collector and producer were presented by his daughter, Nicki Wilkinson.

The packed out event at Mossley Hill Church was an opportunity to see rare film footage of Liverpool from Victorian times to the 1980s.

The films included:

• the earliest known footage of Victorian Liverpool
• Sefton Park in the 1930s
• Liverpool during World War 2
• a 1950s street party
• the city in the Swinging ’60s
• the 1980s – including the International Garden Festival
